Solve Engineering Case Study
Project Value: $3M
Summary:
Solve Engineering designed, improvised and Installed a 320-metre double DN150 Water Pipe supply run, transitioning throughout 3 buildings.
Commencing with a critical ‘hot tap’ into the fully active main supply water line, and terminating on the Arc Tower where it supplies a multitude of heavy industrial process machines with Potable
fresh water.
The pipe run was fully TIG Welded to ensure the highest quality welds, and present the lowest ‘hot work’ hazard impact to the numerous heat
sensitive installations encountered below the pipe rack.
Year: 2016 / 7.
Market Sector: Industrial [Victoria].
Project:
MCL5 Passivation Tower Upgrade, including supply and Install DN150 Carbon Steel Reticulated Water Piped Supply and Return.
Solve Solution:
An Integrated Engineering Solution [I.E.S] including design concepts, project labour personnel and fabrication capabilities.
The pipe run required very advanced Rigging techniques and the coordinated use of Duel Cranes and multiple Boom Lifts simultaneously.
